the lambda story
Established in 1984 to meet the needs of the LGBTQ+ community, the New Orleans Lambda Center was originally a clubhouse for AA meetings alone, but has since evolved to host meetings from a variety of 12-step fellowships.

Our mission is to provide a meeting place for the LGBTQ+ recovery community and a place where autonomous 12-step groups may hold their meetings.
